Manufacturing time
Manufacturing time
Day 1 : Machining & Sanding
Careful preparation of each piece to ensure a smooth surface ready to receive finishes.
Day 2 : Application of the first coat of tinted oil (drying for 24 hours).
The oil is applied carefully to bring out the chosen shade.
Day 3 : Application of the second coat of tinted oil (drying for 24 hours).
A second coat intensifies the color and evens out the finish.
Day 4 : Application of a colorless protective oil (dries for 24 hours).
This final layer provides lasting protection for the piece while nourishing the wood.
Day 5 : Stripping, finishing and packaging.
Final smoothing, rendering verification, and careful preparation for shipping.
Our finishing process requires precision, patience, and strict adherence to drying times. It takes an average of five business days, but this timeframe, given as a guide, may vary depending on the complexity of the pieces, the volume of current orders, or environmental conditions.
Care instructions
Care instructions
Daily cleaning
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. For small stains, clean with clean water or natural, non-abrasive products. Avoid harsh or chemical detergents, as they may damage the finish.
Stain protection
The protective oil forms an effective barrier, but it is essential to wipe up any spilled liquid quickly to prevent it from penetrating the wood.
Heat & humidity
Wood reacts to variations in humidity and temperature. Protect it from direct heat sources (radiators, hot plates) and overly humid environments to avoid thermal shock. A table placed in an untempered veranda, for example, will be subject to significant fluctuations that can cause the wood to move.
Solar radiation & UV marks
Our oils naturally protect the wood from UV rays, but prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can still create shadows if objects are left in the same place for a long time. To avoid these marks, remember to move objects placed on the surface from time to time.
Shocks & scratches
The oiled finish retains the natural feel of the wood, but remains sensitive to friction. Do not slide heavy or abrasive objects on it, and add pads or felt under objects that will be placed on it for a long time.
Metal objects
Avoid leaving metal objects in prolonged contact with the wood: they can react with the tannins and cause irreversible dark stains (except when sanding).
Occasional re-oiling
Over time, re-oiling may be necessary to revive the wood's protection and natural shine.

Honey

A delicate golden yellow that subtly enhances the wood.

Oak vs Beech in Honey finish
Our "honey beech" finish is the closest to this in appearance. Slightly more golden, it offers a warm hue reminiscent of oak's natural patina, with a sunny, luminous touch. It's a beautiful alternative to solid oak, more accessible but just as elegant. And for your custom projects, we can also work with real oak upon request.

An intense brown with dark chocolate undertones, perfect for adding a warm and bold depth.

This finish blends in well with both industrial styles and contemporary ambiances.

Amber VS Jatoba
Our Amber finish is the more golden of the two. Warm and luminous, it evokes the amber reflections of wood naturally weathered by time. Its light, soft hue elegantly reveals the grain, for a look that's both authentic and soothing.
The Jatoba finish, on the other hand, offers a more intense, woody and coppery shade, inspired by exotic woods. It brings depth and character to your rooms, while maintaining a beautiful softness in the light.
These two shades work perfectly in a warm atmosphere, but with different accents: Ambre plays with golden subtlety, Jatoba asserts a denser presence. To help you make the right choice, we also offer samples.

Chocolate VS Terra
These two shades are very close, the difference is in the depth and nuance:
Terra is our most intense brown, with a deep, almost black finish, ideal for those looking for a dense and velvety shade.
Chocolate , on the other hand, reveals a slightly warmer shade, subtly tending towards yellow. It remains very dark, but with a more "gourmet" tone, hence its name.
Two variations of the same universe, to choose depending on whether you prefer a very deep brown or a warmer shade.
