Little Anana is above all a story of encounters: that of Astrid Eudeline and Ivan Grangeret, united by the same desire to create with their hands and to imagine objects imbued with simplicity and authenticity.
Founded in 2017, our brand was born out of a deep need: to restore meaning to everyday life through artisanal, sustainable, and accessible creations. More than a project, Little Anana is an adventure that reflects our intimate connection with materials, nature, and the spaces that surround us.
A workshop between the forest and the ocean
Our shared adventure took root in the Southwest, where Astrid, after a long search for anchorage, found her balance near the ocean. Ivan rediscovered a passion for craftsmanship after years of sound design in Paris. Our respective backgrounds converged, and that's how we decided to create Little Anana together, blending our talents and visions in our workshops, nestled between the forest and the ocean.
Much more than just a workplace, this space is our creative refuge, an echo of our connection with materials and nature. Each piece comes to life in this subtle balance between our inspirations and our environment.
A sincere commitment, between ideal and reality
Our creative approach is guided by a desire to do the best we can with the resources at our disposal. We always favor natural, sustainable, and local materials; however, we must also juggle financial realities. Little Anana is our source of income, and we sometimes compromise by offering less sustainable alternatives.
It's a delicate balance between our beliefs and business needs. Our goal is always to strive for a better balance, improving our processes with each collection so that Little Anana grows while remaining true to its values, with a constant commitment to sincerity and transparency.
Creating, a rooted and living act
For us, creation is a journey between our dreams and our realities. It's a way to reconcile aesthetics and meaning, to reconnect with ancestral know-how while adding our contemporary touch.
